At Arrow and Stone, we believe that every child—especially those in adoptive and foster families—is created with a unique purpose, deep strength, and the potential to make a lasting impact. These children are our arrows and stones: bold, resilient, and ready to rise.

Inspired by Psalm 127:4 — "Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth" — and 1 Samuel 17:40, where David chose five smooth stones to face a giant, we see our children as both arrows and stones: bold, prepared, and full of potential to stand against the giants of our culture.

In these words, we see a clear picture: children are prepared and powerful, and it is the warriors—parents—who guide, aim, and release them into their purpose.

We believe parents are the difference-makers. That’s why our mission is centered on developing and equipping parents—especially those in the adoptive and foster care communities—to lead with strength, love, and vision.

We do this by:

• Cultivating leadership in parents so they can lead their families with confidence and clarity

• Nurturing resilience, helping caregivers grow through healing and empowerment

• Building supportive community, ensuring no parent walks this path alone
